Singer/songwriter Jacob Camara combines his love for folk, country, and blues to form a unique and timeless American Roots sound.
Based out of Eugene, Oregon, independent songwriter Jacob Camara combines his love for folk, country, and blues to form a unique and timeless American Roots sound. His intricate fingerstyle guitar and skillfully crafted songs are inspired by pickers and singers like Elizabeth Cotton, Mississippi John Hurt, Bob Dylan, Kate Wolf, Robert Johnson, B.B. King, Townes Van Zandt, Blaze Foley, Charlie Parr, and Gillian Welch.
He has performed hundreds shows in the Pacific Northwest and is planning several solo tours for 2022. His music can be found on CD at live shows or anywhere you stream your music online.
In addition to his solo project, Jacob also performs as a singer, banjo player, guitarist, and producer/engineer for the Eugene based bluegrass band The Muddy Souls
