From Italy - RED WINE- Sexy Italian Bluegrass

Since 1984, Red Wine has toured Europe, performing at major international festivals and playing concerts in Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Wales, Holland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, and Austria gaining strong following everywhere. They have toured the United States regularly since 1995 and were featured several times at the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) convention in Raleigh, NC. The band’s last U.S. tour was in February 2020 when they performed at The Joe Val Festival in Massachusetts and Wintergrass Bluegrass Festival in Washington.Following the huge success of their 2008 30th anniversary celebration concert in Genova, Red Wine started a yearly adventure - The Red Wine Bluegrass Party - with international guests Tim O’Brien, Laurie Lewis & Tom Rozum, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Peter Rowan, and The Kruger Brothers and others. Recently the Party started featuring other genres like Celtic, Dixieland, and Old Time and welcomed collaborations with incredible artists from Italy and Europe. Jefferson Center for the Arts is honored to host this unique and multi talented group of musicians. They will perform two sets for the evening of their concert one in English and one in Italian.
